Sony made the woofer with Highly Oriented Polyolefine (H.O.P.), a material that's exceptionally strong for its weight. Suspended in a thick rubber surround, the cone moves easily when you apply the power — transforming electrical energy into fat, accurate bass.

The aluminum dome tweeter yields crisp and well-defined highs that'll come through clearly, even over road and wind noise.
